The Context

Nordzco is a leading New Zealand kitchen manufacturing and supply group. While the group brand is recent, it unites industry giants with over 100 years of heritage, including Hostess Kitchens Waikato (est. 102 years) and regional powerhouses in Tauranga, Canterbury, and Queenstown.

The Challenge

Despite their deep expertise and national scale, the Group lacked a cohesive visual identity. They needed to unite their legacy brands under a modern, "professional-edge" identity that worked across vastly different physical and digital touchpoints—from high-visibility vehicle wraps to internal corporate documents. Speed was also a factor; the business needed a complete brand refresh ready for rollout within a tight window.

The Strategy (What I Did)

Unified Visual Identity: Redesigned the Nordzco logo to balance their 100-year legacy with a modern, forward-thinking aesthetic.

Multi-Platform Optimization: Created a full suite of brand variations specifically engineered for high-impact use cases: website UI, large-scale signage, heavy-vehicle wraps, and embroidered uniforms.

Strategic Brand Guidelines: Developed a concise, practical "Brand Bible" for the internal team. This ensured consistency across their North and South Island facilities, covering typography, color palettes, and clear space rules.

Rapid Agile Delivery: Managed the project end-to-end with an agile workflow to move from initial concept to final brand assets in under one week.

The Results

Brand Unity: Successfully unified three distinct regional brands under a single, cohesive visual identity without losing their "industry pioneer" reputation.

Operational Efficiency: The team was able to immediately roll out new signage and vehicle wraps across their national fleet using the provided guidelines.
